A QR Code (Quick Response Code) is a two-dimensional barcode consisting of black modules arranged on a white background. It can store digital information such as a URL (link to an online resource), Wi-Fi code, or other data. When a smartphone or tablet scans a QR code, it reads its content and offers direct access to the corresponding resource (web page, image, video, etc.).
Unlike traditional QR codes, dynamic QR codes allow you to modify their content even after printing. This makes them particularly useful for situations where the link or associated information needs to be updated.
Dynamic QR codes redirect users to a modifiable URL, avoiding the need to reprint existing codes. For example, a restaurant can display a QR code leading to their online menu. If the menu URL changes, the QR code remains valid, no reprinting necessary.
For a dynamic QR code to work, it must be associated with a platform that manages the redirection to the correct URL. For example, on LFQR, a generated QR code will contain an address like https://lfqr.fr/...
. When this address is scanned, our service redirects to the URL you have configured.
It is therefore essential to trust the platform you use, as all traffic goes through it. At LFQR, we play it transparent: our name, Ludovic Frank QR, clearly reflects who is behind the service and who manages the servers to provide you with this reliable solution.
No specific platform needed: Google Chrome is sufficient. Open the three-dot menu at the top right, select 'Share' then 'Create QR Code'. Other free tools also exist online for generating static QR codes.
LFQR is designed to be free, thanks to the shared infrastructure of the Ludovic Frank group. To minimize costs, we eliminated resource-intensive features, such as scan tracking, which would require computational power.
We don't directly generate revenue with LFQR. However, by using our service, you discover the 'Ludovic Frank' brand. If your company needs advanced web development or consulting solutions, you'll know where to find us.
Additionally, we offer specific paid software, such as a reservation solution for restaurants that protects against no-shows. LFQR is therefore a gateway to other services in our ecosystem.
